Hi Friends. I saw three good movies on Saturday. They were: PIXELS, PAPER TOWNS &
TRAINWRECK. Here are my reviews.

                                                                          PIXELS

Chris Columbus has done it again. Pixels starring
Adam Sandler was hilarious, Seeing all the old
video games of the 80'S brought back some great
memories. I was so good at DONKEY KONG.
                                      BURGER TIME, PAPERBOY, QBERT, &
                                      PAC-MAN.  The supporting cast including
JOSH GAD, PETER DINKLIGE, KEVIN JAMES,
MICHELLE MONIGHAN were funny as well. I
am not like all the other critics. I give all of Adam Sandler
movies a chance and I haven't been dissappointed. Seeing
all those great games will make you want to play them
all over again. PIXELS begins when aliens mistakes a
time capsule holding video games as an act of war so it's
up to Adam Sandler and his nerd friends to save the day.
So go see PIXELS you'll want your kids to play those old
                              games as well.

                                                             PAPER TOWNS

Paper Towns marks supermodel Cara Delevigne first
acting job. Too bad it wasn't in a better movie. The
movie was written by Scott Neustadter & Micheal H.
Weber. They wrote the better movie THE FAULT IN
OUR STARS. Paper Towns begins when Quintin(Nat
Wolf). He played Issac in THE FAULT IN OUR STARS.
Falls in love with Margo(Cara Delevigne) as soon as she
moves into the neighborhood. She ignores him for years
until one night she wants him to help her get even  with
those who done her wrong then she ups and vanishis
leaving what Quintin thinks are clues to where to find her.
One of the best things about Paper Towns is Halston Sage
who plays one of Margo's friend Lacey. She was awesome
in her role. Again Paper Towns was almost as good as
THE FAULT IN OUR STARS but not quite. I cried at
the end of FAULT but not at this one. See it for yourself
                          and leave me a comment.

                                                                  TRAINWRECK

Amy Shumer should get an OSCAR nod for best
original screenplay because it was freaking funny.
Amy works at sex magazine who asignes her to
interview a doctor who treats athletes. Bill Hader
plays the doctor. I never pictured Bill Hader as a
romantic lead. But he does a good job. Another
one who does a great job is Lebron James as one
of Bill's clients. So if you want to laugh for two
hours go see Trainwreck. Amy will make you laugh
                               as well as cry.

So there are my reviews of  two great movies
                                      (PIXELS, TRAINWRECK) and one so-so
movie (PAPER TOWNS). See PIXELS &
                                     TRAINWRECK you wont be dissapointed.
Enjoy the movies and save me some
                                    popcorn.

Hi Friends. This is my late review of THE MINIONS.

                                                               THE MINIONS

The creators of DESPICABLE ME have done it again.
The pill shaped MINIONS are back and funnier than
ever. The voice cast is incredible. SANDRA BULLOCK
does an awesome job as SCARLETT OVERKILL.
Likewise JON HAMM as SCARLETT'S husband HERB
OVERKILL. The rest of the cast is great. From
MICHEAL KEATON and ALLISON JANNEY as  the
head of a bank robbing family. To STEVE COOGAN as
as a TOWER OF LONDON  gaurd to the great
                             JENNIFER SAUNDERS(ABSOLUTELY FABOULAS)
as the QUEEN OF ENGLAND. PIERRE COFFINE is
back and better than ever as the voice of THE MINIONS.
So I highly reccomend THE MINIONS. You'll come out
humming THE MINION theme like I did. Next week I'll
be reviewing the films PIXELS & PAPER TOWNS.
Last year I missed THE FAULT IN OUR STARS in the
theaters so I'm not going to miss PAPER TOWNS.
So enjoy the popcorn & the movies.

Hi Friends. Today I'll be reviewing MATILDA THE MUSCAL, AFTER THE BALL, &
BURYING THE EX.

                                                           MATILDA THE MUSICAL

Matilda The Musical was freaking awesome. The critics were right about this amazing
musical. The shows composer TIM MINCHIN did a great job with the songs. There
are five songs that stand out. NAUGHTY Matilda's anthem. LOUD, WHEN I GROW
UP, THE SMELL OF REBELLION & the best one REVOLTING CHILDREN.
At the performance I saw Matilda was played by GABBY GUTIERREZ. GABBY
made history by being the first filipino to play the role of Matilda. She did an awesome
job doing an english accent.  During the song LOUD Mrs. Wormwood tells Miss Honey
how she gets ready for the annual dance competition she enters every year. During the
song WHEN I GROW UP the children actually swing on swings over the orchestra pit,
The children sing about what they will do when they get older. THE SMELL OF
REBELLION has the evil woman MISS. TRUNCHBULL gives the children an extreme
workout. And as for the best one REVOLTING CHILDREN the kids celebrate the
departure of MISS. TRUNCHBULL. The opening of the second act was hilarious.
Matilda's father Mr. Wormwood comes out to  warn the adults in the audience to be
careful not to let their children read books and to think for themselves. At the curtain
call the actors take their bows riding scooters. All in all I highly recomend MATILDA
THE MUSICAL. You'll laugh & cry but you'll have a hell of a good time. TIME magazine
was right. MATILDA was the best show since THE LION KING!

                                                          AFTER THE BALL

After The Ball is a different take on the CINDERRELLA story. Portia Doubleday
(Who played Chris Hargensen in the CARRIE remake)  headlines a cast that
Chris Noth (SEX & THE CITY), Colin Mochrie( WHOSE LINE IS IT
ANYWAY), & LAUREN HOLLY( PICKET FENCES, MOTIVE(. Portia plays
Kate who wants to work at her father's (Noth) fashion design house but her father's
new wife & daughters try to push her out. Kate however thinks her father's wife is up
to something so she disguises herself as a man to take her down. While she's in
disguise Kate starts to fall in love with a co-worker. Portia has come a long way since
CARRIE, I recomend  AFTER THE BALL if only for Portia's performance. Also for
Colin Mochrie. He plays a pretty good part in it.

                                                      BURYING THE EX

JOE SANTE is back and better than ever. Burying The Ex
was scary & funny at the same time. ANTON YELCHIN
pkays Max. He has an overbearing girlfriend who dictactes
what he can and cannot do. One day while at Max's job he
& EVELYN( ASHLEY GREENE) make a wish in fronf
evil idol to be together forever. Big mistake. Because no sooner
does Evelyn gets hit by a bus and dies. But as soon as Max falls
in love with ice cream shop owner (ALEXANDRA DADDARIO)
Evelyn reuturns from the grave. As with hie earlier films JOE DANTE
uses some of his acting regulars. The great DICK MILLER plays a
desk cop while Joe's fomer dierector of photogrphy the great JOHN
plays a grumpy customer. Max works in a horror movie memoribillia
store. So if you want to laugh and sceam a la the great horror comedy
CREEPSHOW I recommend BURYING THE EX I really loved it.

So those are my reviews for this week. I will review the
anticapated THE MINIONS & THE GALLOWS. So
enjoy MATILDA & the movies I talked about out &
save me some popcorn. See you next time & enjoy the
                    movies.
